LicAc, BSc (Hons), MBAcC
As from 6th March 2019, Jenny shall be returning to work at the WCHC after her maternity leave
Jenny gained a BSc (Hons) and a license to practice acupuncture (LicAc) from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. At the college she learned Five Element acupuncture alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), enabling her to treat a wide range of patients and conditions.
Much of the focus of her training has been on uncovering and treating the root cause of ill health in each patient. This approach has the potential to bring about long lasting changes in the health and wellbeing of her patients, alongside advice around changes to diet and lifestyle that empower her patients to stay well.
Jenny feels that a particular strength of acupuncture lies in its ability to affect the mental and emotional wellbeing of patients. This is an area of life where she feels many people in the modern world are suffering greatly – but where there are limited options for treatment. She is a firm believer in using acupuncture to treat people and not diseases, and because of this each treatment is designed uniquely for the patient in front of her.
Jenny is a member of the British Acupuncture Council www.acupuncture.org.uk and is committed to running a safe and professional practice. She attends regular mentoring, and undertakes frequent courses to continue her development as a practitioner.
