Starting yoga is a bit daunting at the best of times! So how do you know if you are “yoga class ready”? Will you understand what the teacher is asking you to do? And what do some of those funny yoga words really mean?
Get a head start by joining me for 4 personalised yoga sessions which will help you build the confidence and knowledge you need to make a confident start in a yoga class!
I’ll cover some of the postures you’ll often find in the class (things like the Tree, the Warrior, the Bridge, Forward Stretch) and help you to feel confident about practising them at home. You’ll learn to become more aware of your body and we’ll also explore what “good” breathing looks and feels like!
You can book weekly sessions or spread them out to work around your commitments.

| Introductory session | Half hour | Tell me about yourself, your goals for your yoga practice, any health issues you feel are relevant and help me to get to know you. Following this session I will prepare a personalised practice plan for you with illustrations of the postures, ready for your next session. |
| Introduction to your plan | 1 hour | Go through the practice plan to ensure that you feel confident to practise the postures and breathing techniques safely in your own home. |
| Follow up session 1 | 1 hour | Discuss progress, make any adjustments and practise new additions to the plan ready to continue your home practice with confidence. |
| Follow up session 2 | 1 hour | Discuss progress, review practice and make any updates to the plan. Build confidence in practising a range of postures and techniques which are commonly included in yoga classes. |
