How does it feel to move effortlessly and confidently?

May 09th, 2026

During our life, we accumulate habits, behaviours, ways of holding ourselves and styles of breathing which become part of the way we are.  Some of these accumulated habits may have an impact on our range of movement.  Tension can affect our ability to breathe effectively and as we go on, we may start to feel less mobile or have less energy and vitality.  These changes affect our overall sense of wellbeing and zest for life.

So what can we do to regain our sense of effortless and confident movement?

As a yoga teacher it gives me huge pleasure to design sessions which enable my clients to become more aware of their bodies, release tension, build strength and take control of their breathing.  I study regularly with Gary Carter of Natural Bodies www.naturalbodies.co.uk and his belief is that we should be able to “feel the quality of movement as a whole being”.   This learning means I bring to my clients some of his leading-edge teaching, understanding of anatomy and the role of the body’s fascia in maintaining health.   I believe that yoga can benefit everyone at all stages of life and my youngest client is 14 and my oldest is 92!

If you would like to discover freedom of movement, ease of breathing and improved mental wellbeing then please get in touch with me.  I offer weekly group yoga sessions in Melton (spaces available) and in Martlesham Heath and I also offer personalised yoga sessions, where I design a yoga plan specially for you, at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre www.wchc.info and online using Zoom

You can get in touch with me through my website www.izzyyoga.co.uk or by email at izzy@bluepebblecoaching.co.uk.  And you can book a free consultation at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre on 01394 388234.  I’d love to meet you.
