What’s new from our Yoga Practitioner, Izzy Ixer, take a look……….
March 16th, 2026
| I’m seeing another wave of interest in yoga recently as people search for techniques to support them in their daily lives.
Yoga is well-known for helping you to stay relaxed, supporting physical and mental wellbeing and coping with stress. This is because yoga techniques reduce physical tension, help to keep your mind focussed and once you have mastered some simple breathing techniques you can stay grounded when everything around you feels out of control.
I offer personalised yoga coaching at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre and have extended my availability to Thursday mornings. A growing number of clients, whose age range is anything from 14 to 84, are benefitting from personalised yoga coaching and are seeing the positive changes to their posture, breathing, mobility, strength, balance and mental wellbeing as they progress. It’s always a delight to see the changes taking place each time they come to see me! I offer a short, free, no-obligation consultation at the centre in Sandy Lane so come along and talk to me about options for learning yoga and making the changes you want in your life. One of my regular clients said she never imagined yoga was for her – until she came to me!
Linda James and I continue our ever-popular weekly, daytime yoga classes at Melton on Tuesdays and at Martlesham Heath on Wednesdays. There’s a waiting list for the Wednesday sessions and a few spaces at Melton. If you or someone you know would benefit from getting back to yoga, do encourage them to get in touch and join us.
These classes are not ideal for complete beginners, though people who have experienced Pilates and similar approaches may feel they are ready to join us. And we offer a free, taster session so you can experience our traditional, hatha style of yoga and see if the class is right for you! Just get in touch.
As experienced, British Wheel of Yoga diploma teachers, Linda and I love continuing to learn about new approaches to yoga as well as teaching from its rich tradition.
