Sue Staff
BABCP, IPT Accredited. EMDR, CADC
Sue’s approach as an Adolescent Psychotherapist is warm, supportive, and focused on what will help you feel better. She offers focused, short-term therapy tailored to what will be most helpful for you. She works flexibly, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

She brings over 30 years of experience working within NHS mental health services, alongside 10 years in the USA specialising in mental health and addiction. Her work has included supporting adults, young people, children, and families across a variety of settings.
Today’s world presents many challenges that can significantly impact our emotional wellbeing, particularly during adolescence and early adulthood. Whilst she has a broad background, she has currently chosen to specialise in working with adolescents.
If you would like to come along for a chat with Sue, at no cost initially, you are very welcome to do so. This gives you both the opportunity to meet, talk things through, and see whether you feel that you could work well together. Sue is also happy to work with you using a virtual forum such as Zoom if this is easier for you.
