What’s new with our Yoga Teacher, Izzy Ixer?

March 18th, 2024

What do you think of when you hear the words “yoga class”?  Challenging yoga poses?  A sense of peace and relaxation?  A group of people enjoying meeting each other each week for friendship and to enjoy their class?  Learning to breathe more easily?

In fact it can be all of these things.  And at different times of our lives we draw on the richness of yoga to help us with our mental and physical wellbeing and sometimes to find the support of others too.

If you’ve ever thought of joining a class, then there are two friendly and welcoming groups very close to the Centre.  One group meets in Melton on Tuesdays and the other in Martlesham Heath on Wednesdays.  They both start at 1.30pm and end at 3pm.  I share the classes with my friend and colleague Linda James and we take half of the term each.  We are both qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga and enjoy keeping our skills updated with regular professional development.  We’ve both been teaching for over 30 years and our group members find that they benefit from our experience and support to help them get the most from their yoga sessions.

The classes are suitable for those with some experience of yoga so they are ideal if you have practised in the past and are keen to resume your yoga.  If you are a beginner, it’s worth considering one to one sessions with me at the Centre so that you have a good grounding in yoga practice before you join the group.

If you’d like to talk to me about yoga and how to get started or to pick up where you left off, do book a free 20 minute chat with me at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre and get your Spring off to a good start!
